I’m nearing my 30s and quiet honestly I cannot wait to start this next chapter of my life. If there’s anything I’ve learnt about growing older and smarter, it would be to remain calm and that it’s okay to not have it all figured out. I think when I was in my late teens I wanted to graduate, get a high paying job, and be married by 25 and have 2 kids by 30 and guess what...that is not how my life turned out, far from it even. One of the lessons that I’m learning is that I cannot be in control of everything and therefore sometimes I can be prepare as much as I want to you but somethings in life I just cannot control. As I approach the third level of my life, here some of things that I want to share with you that I would like to do before I reach my dirty thirty.... We all know that once you make it past 24, there’s that voice inside that says that Chile, you need to get your s**t together. There are expectations you have for yourself right? and there’s “societal expectations”. Like where’s your kid? When are you having another kid? You still leaving with your parents? Why are you a full-time student at your age? When are you planning on getting married? …relax, we are all in the same boat… well not really, we are in the same sea but different boats with the same challenges at different frequencies and different wavelengths. So, I figured at my age, just under 30 what are the things that a person over 24 needs to get right or rather what are the things we should be doing before we hit the big 30.
