Hello Lockdown, Hello New Norm, Hello New Blog

Lockdown came with it many different challenges….both socially and personally. I quickly found myself adjusting to working at home and working overtime to make up for the sells that were missed in the first 2 months of lockdown and once I was able to close the gap, what-a-lot-i-got for working from home.

On weekends I swamped myself with gardening, cleaning, basically working myself tired to avoid just sitting infront of the TV and wasting my time away. So I found ways to make myself useful, not only did I start gardening, I awakened the writer in me that I never knew existed. I am currently not travelling a lot based on the obvious but I sure have a lot to share and engage about.

I started looking into informative channels and platforms, not everything is Netflix and chill. I started doing my research and some reading. Although having read through online media I found that there a lot of articles on how to save during lockdown. How to make money lockdown, how cooking and baking were made easy and guess what…how millionaires are made during this depression.

I need to point out that the secret of live and most things is in the reading but the tricky part is, with all the information overload and Internet Of Things beaming. It is easy to miss that one article that could set you up for success or that one book for all that matter.

We are in an era where we spend most of our time on social media and also on the aesthetics and superficials as this somehow validates and is a measure of your importance or rather how influential one can be.

I have also realised that with all this going on, people have become entitled (not sure what to make out of this) and have become now more than ever opinionated on what goes on around them. Could be good or bad, depends on how you look at it.

Now…the idea to start writing and share my thoughts came when I realised that actually I have some free time now that I am working from home, so why not make the world a better place with my 2 cents worth and I would hope that would set me apart from the other bloggers. I do not have any travel experiences to share nor a favourite eatery to snap and share but merely share my thoughts and educate others in the process.

Sharing my journey of becoming and being and how we are in different ways going through the same thing although in different frequencies and different wavelengths. So…has a piece of me and my journey and try not to catch feelings.

HAPPY BLOGGING ♥
